What hath Marc wrought? (Okrund, that is)

I hope you didn't miss this one going by.

These Klingon-related language stories pop up almost monthly, it seems—remember the false report of an Oregon county requiring Klingonese among the alien languages on its social service forms?—but I just couldn't let this one from the UK get away.

Thoughts?

Wondering how often "space opera" gets used in conversation these days. Seems as if half the time that I use it, I have explain using TV examples. Including Trek, as ever. :-)

Yep, it's as if no one tries to make the distinction any more, or even realizes it. I hate to see good literary SF watered down in expectations like that...not that I was ever a huge SF reader, but I "get" it.
